Make your own salad dressing they say…and my mind instantly goes to – how long is that going to take, I’m no skilled chef, it won’t turn out good, why do that when I can get it at the store.
Well – then I tried it … and it’s so much better than store bought.
Kinda like homegrown tomatoes – there’s just no comparison.
If you’re a salad person or are wanting to incorporate more salads into your routine – if you haven’t heard yet, it’s all about the sauce.
They both include Miso – which is a fermented food. Fermented foods are SO GOOD for your gut health and overall health.
Plus I really like the depth of flavor the miso brings. I use a chickpea miso myself.
One is a Lemon Miso and the other is a Lime Avocado Miso.
They take less than 3 minutes each, you don’t need to be a skilled chef, they will turn out good, and you probably already have the ingredients at home – so that trip to the store for the dressing is actually less convenient.
They are healthier too – store bought dressings typically are high in refined sugar and highly processed oils that cause inflammation in the body. These use optional maple syrup and either a good oil olive or avocado oil.
